Tamborine Mountain Country Markets

Held at the Tamborine Mountain Showground (where Main Western Road meets Bartle Road) the second Sunday of every month, this market comprises over 200 stalls.

On offer are a huge range of fresh fruit and vegetables, locally produced cheeses, honey, plants, herbs, flowers, coffee, arts and crafts, collectibles and more.

Forget fast food - here you will find an international selection of breakfast and lunch options that range from Dutch and Indian delicacies to traditional German and Australian fare.

Parents can listen to live music while the children enjoy rides and activities such as jumping castles, mini Jeeps, face painting and pony rides.

Large shady trees offer respite from the summer heat and open areas allow you to soak in the sun on cooler days, making this an ideal destination all year round.

Tamborine Mountain School Ground Markets

Situated on the corner of Curtis Road and Long Road, North Tamborine this interesting market's great family atmosphere makes it a day out not to be missed, where there is something to buy and something to do for everyone.

Described as a combination of country market and garage sale, this colourful market takes place on the last Sunday of the month from 8.00 am to 2.00 pm and supports the local State Primary School P&C.

Enjoy browsing a variety of items including books, antiques, bric-a-brac, kitsch items and rare oddities.

There are also delicious preserves and chutneys on offer as well as locally grown fruit and vegetable stalls, plants, honey, cut flowers and more.

This traditional village market is smaller than the Country Market but still very much worth a visit.
