Please take the time to read these terms and conditions. By using our accommodation and the services offered, you are agreeing to these terms and conditions.

1. Reservations:

1.1. Reservations are subjected to the availability and applicable pricing at the time of the booking. Some conditions may apply including but not limited to minimum stay requirements.
1.2. The confirmed price may be subject to change if any details of your booking are amended: your dates of stay, your cottage type, the package or any amendments on the package.
1.3. Any reservations made through agents or other third parties may be subject to separate terms and policies and you are solely responsible to check and accept those terms and policies.
1.4. Witches Falls Cottages is an adult only accommodation; thus, family bookings are not accepted and unfortunately children are not allowed as guests on the property.
1.5. We do not allow pets on the premises.
1.6. Witches Falls Cottages reserves the right to refuse or decline your booking at any time without reason. We reserve the right to refuse entry for any reason we so determine in our discretion (including for our own purposes).
1.7. Witches Falls Cottages may, in very exceptional circumstances, need to cancel a reservation. In the event of such cancellation, the customer shall be informed immediately and shall be offered alternative accommodation of the same standard or better or a full refund of any and all sums paid.

2. Payment:

2.1. We accept the following payment methods: Mastercard, Visa, American Express, eftpos, EFT and cash payments in Australian Dollars.
2.2. A non-refundable card surcharge applies to payments made by Visa, Mastercard, and American Express.

3. Deposit and Final Payment:

3.1. For phone/email reservation, a deposit of 50% of the total tariff is required. Any reservation will not be confirmed, until the deposit is received. The full payment must be made upon the arrival.
3.2. All the reservations made online must be fully prepaid at the time of the booking.
3.3. Once the deposit for your booking has been received, confirmation for the payment and booking will be sent to you via email.

4. Identification:

4.1. For identification purposes, a valid driver’s license may be required on arrival.
4.2. If you are unable to provide any identification, we reserve the right to cancel your booking and charge you for the full amount of the booking.

5. Refunds and Cancellations:

5.1. For all the bookings made using our website or over the phone/email, the following rules apply:
– All bookings are non-refundable
– In the event Witches Falls Cottages is unable to operate due to a COVID lockdown, a credit note will be applied to be used within 6 months.
– In the event a customer is unable to check-in due to a COVID lockdown, a credit note will be applied to be used within 6 months.
5.2. We do not take the responsibility for the cancellations and refunds of bookings made via third party agents.

6. Check-in and Check-out:

6.1. Standard Check-in time is 2:00 pm.
6.2. Standard Check-out time is 10:00 am.
6.3. Early Check-in and Late Check-out must be discussed and approved by property management and is subjected to availability.

7. Liability:

7.1. To the extent permitted by applicable law, by using our accommodation and services you agree to keep Witches Falls Cottages property and its employees harmless from damages and losses, including but not limited to property damages, financial losses, injuries.
7.2. If any damage or spillage happens during your stay, you are requested to notify us immediately. Any significant breakage or damage may result in an additional charge for replacement, repair or specialist cleaning and you may be liable for our loss of income.
7.3. We do not take responsibility for any personal belongings left on the premises.

8. Smoking:

8.1. Smoking inside the cottages is not permitted. You will be charged additional cleaning costs in case the rules are violated.
8.2. Ashtrays are provided for outdoor use only.

9. Departure:

9.1. Prior to check out, you are requested to ensure all dishes are washed and the cottage is left in reasonable condition.
9.2. Any waste should be disposed in the bins provided. You may be subjected to a removal fee for any waste left on the property that does not fit into the bins.
9.3. Upon your departure, the keys must be returned to the reception.
9.4. You should notify the reception if your departure is outside the regular office hours.

10. Noise Policy:

10.1. All noise is to cease by 10 pm and the neighbours are not to be disturbed during your tenancy.
10.2. The maximum guest’s number in the room should not be exceeded without discussion and approval of property management.
10.3. Should the maximum guest numbers stated on your booking be exceeded without approval, or should the police be called to the premises for unruly behaviour or excessively loud music after 10pm, your booking will be cancelled, you will be evicted from the premises and your accommodation tariff (including bond) will not be refunded. Our properties are strictly to be used as holiday accommodation only.

11. Lost Keys:

11.1. A charge of $300 will be taken for any keys that have been lost. This is to cover the expense of changing the locks.
11.2. A charge of $100 will be taken when keys are locked in your property and a call out is required.

12. Unforeseen Events:

12.1. Witches Falls Cottages are not responsible for any events outside of control of the property owners. Events include, but are not exclusive to – weather damage, power blackouts, landslides, insect infestation, floods, plane cancellations and any other unusual event.
12.2. In the event of the premises becoming unavailable prior to your arrival through unforeseen circumstances, we will inform you immediately and endeavour to obtain suitable alternative premises or offer a full refund.
12.3. The description of the property is given in good faith and no responsibility for misinterpretation will be accepted.

13. Internet Usage:

13.1. Wireless Internet is available at all our cottages.
13.2. The service is provided free of charge as a convenience to our guests.

14. Environmental Policy:

14.1. We are dedicated to environmental improvements that foster a sustainable future in the community we do business. Please refer to our Environmental Policy for more details.

15. Use of Information:

15.1. You consent and authorise Witches Falls Cottages to collect, use and disclose your personal information for the purposes of administering your booking and providing you with any services associated with your booking.
15.2. You agree to receive emails newsletter from Witches Falls Cottages.
15.3. Witches Falls Cottages will not disclose any information you have provided.
