Picnic in the park
We do love picnics and there is no better place than the Tamborine Mountain Botanical Gardens to enjoy the colourful autumn foliage. Should the weather turn there are some covered picnic spots ready for your use.
There is plenty of choice for your picnic location on Tamborine Mountain and you might like to take your picnic hamper to the Hang-gliders or Rotary lookout to watch the sunset whilst you enjoy the tasty contents of your hamper. You will find picnic spots at most National Parks all with their own charm and different personality.
Ask us and we will be very happy to share our favourite spots with you. We supply you with the Picnic Blanket, organise the Picnic Hamper and the rest is up to you!
Picnic with Alpacas
Alpaca Experience and Picnic in Canungra Valley (just 25 mins drive from Tamborine Mountain).
Mountview Alpaca Farm offer a wonderful family Alpaca Experience. You get to spend quality time with 2 cuddly, cute friendly Alpacas allocated to you, take amazing photos with them and then enjoy a great picnic afterwards.
Gourmet Picnic Hampers are supplied as part of your Alpaca Picnic Experience. The Farm is licenced (no BYO) so you can enjoy some local wine with your gourmet picnic hamper.

Special Suggestion from the Chief Wizard: Combine your Picnic with our Blind Date with a Book Package (you can add the package as an extra to your booking when booking online direct).
We think this is the perfect combination, a Picnic Hamper filled with treats, a couple of books carefully selected for you and a bottle of local wine to complete your day out.
